They only have SSE2s although yours does have SSE3s, too, since it was one of the later ones - plus bit capability The problem being that the architecture is ancient by today's standards I don't think you'll be able to find a stand-alone Linux driver for a sound card that old. When i typed in the root password upon successful install to log ini heard sound because i had mistyped the root password, but once i logged in, no go. I have got an Audigy 4, which works pretty well in 1. I'm trying to find a way to use the digital sound blaster audigy ubuntu of my Audigy 2 for analog stereo.

Is this possible? I'm trying to configure mixxx with jack output two seperate stereo pairs main and headphone via jack to my SB Live 5.

The jack server will not start with 4 output channels yet it will happily do 4 speaker stereo. The underlying alsa driver only provides a single stereo pair. Sound blaster audigy ubuntu anyone got this to work?

Starting from cold, nothing gets through. In Windows I was able to listen to the music from Line-In in 5.

With alsa in Linux that "trick" doesn't work. But the playback from any stereo wave-file will work on all 5 speakers, only the Line-In don't. Does anyone know what I have to adjust to get the LineIn signal on all 5 or 4 speakers? When I upgraded to suse I have a builtin abit ac' I bought an audigy4 later, hoping it would fix the problems.
